This Privacy Policy describes how Develic Solutions OÜ ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use Omnium Maps ("the App") available through the Shopify App Store. By installing the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Shopify Permissions

When you install the App, Shopify displays the permissions required for the App to function. Below is an explanation of each permission and how we use it.

a) View personal data (Store owner, Content providers):

Shopify's permission system includes this access level as part of the content-related permissions required by the App. Although Shopify technically grants access to store owner information (such as name, email address, phone number, and physical address) and content provider information (such as blog author details), we do not access, collect, or store any of this personal data.

b) View and edit store data (Edit your Online Store):

This permission is essential for the App to operate. It enables us to:

• Retrieve the list of pages in your Online Store, allowing you to select which page to display a map on.
• Store map configuration data (including locations, display settings, and styling preferences) in Shopify metafields associated with your pages.

2. Information We Collect and Store

We collect and store only the minimum information necessary to provide and maintain the App:

• Store identifier: Your Shopify store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com).
• Authentication credentials: OAuth access tokens required to communicate with Shopify on your behalf.
• Map configuration: Location data, display settings, and styling options that you configure within the App.

We do not collect or store any personal information about you, your staff, or your customers.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics with anonymized IP addresses to collect aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics, such as feature usage patterns and application performance metrics. This information helps us improve the App and does not identify individual users. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or similar technologies to monitor visitor behavior outside the App.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Upon uninstallation of the App, we immediately and permanently delete your store's OAuth access tokens from our systems.

Map configuration data (locations, settings, and styling) may be retained for a period following uninstallation. This data does not contain personal information and is preserved to allow you to restore your maps if you choose to reinstall the App. However, we do not guarantee indefinite retention of this data and may delete it at our discretion, particularly for stores that have been uninstalled for more than one year.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data about merchants or their customers, data subject access requests (including requests to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data) are generally not applicable. However, if you have any concerns or questions regarding your data, please contact us and we will address your inquiry promptly.

6. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. Develic Solutions OÜ is registered in Estonia (European Union). By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by Shopify merchants conducting business operations and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Marketing and Advertising

We do not use any data collected through the App for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors.
